During this 'posada,' or Christmas Party, six of the construction workers gave their hearts to the Lord. Merry Christmas indeed.

This Weekend's Build...a bit different
It's nothing new for us to be involved in building homes each weekend. Paint, wood, tools, drywall...and a few hours later, the house is built.
This past weekend, though, it was a bit different. Take a look.

Our building materials were a bit different...licorice, gum balls, gummy bears, M&Ms. Yum.
We closely inspected the materials to ensure their quality. They were delicious.
Some of our 'builders' had never 'built' before, so we gave a bit of instruction as we started.
Soon , they were totally confident.
Each 'builder' picked the materials she wanted to use...
...and the houses began to take shape.
At the end of the day, we had built eleven houses. Wow!It was a fun afternoon to celebrate the Christmas season with the kids from the YWAM Tijuana campus. They went home with houses covered in candy and bellies full of sugar. Merry Christmas!
